OKAY, this is officially my 12th project to date. /slapped

Unnamed Joker girl and unnamed Queen of Hearts boy.

Working title is Reign of Hearts and it’s about a school wherein 16 individuals secretly get chosen to play the Joker’s Game. Each individual gets assigned a rank suit (King of Diamonds, Queen of Spades, Jack of Hearts, Ace of Clubs, and so on).
In this particular school year, the Queen of Hearts falls sick and has to drop from the school. A lottery is held to select the next Queen of Hearts (supposedly the most beautiful and desirable girl in all the academy), and a hot-headed and uninterested boy is chosen. 

I’m trying to keep this project short and manageable and I hope this doesn’t explode into the epically-long storylines I had developed in the past for my old OC’s /lazycry 

I was really frustrated yesterday so I browsed through Ragnarok artworks and kkeum’s gallery and tried to imitate the style. At first I liked it, and then I realized I got even more frustrated lol 

Up until now I don’t know what I absolutely want to become in the future.

Maybe I’m overthinking this, but I get so jealous whenever I see art students working towards their dreams, and I’m an Information Systems major sitting through 4 hours of computer architecture, programming, and other tech stuff. 

I want to make the most out of my major — I mean, I do have fun with it — but I also don’t know if doing so would take away my dream of becoming an animator someday. 

As for art, I want to improve and actually be proud of my work, but I don’t know what kind of art I really want to make. If I were to improve, in what direction should I step in? Because lately I feel like I’m stuck in a rut and not really getting any better.

Excuse me while I crawl into bed and complain about this some more to myself.
